Be a Sponsor
It’s good value advertising! We can tailor a support package to suit any individual or organisation who wants to help us to make a difference.
We value practical, hands-on, support, services or assistance as much as we value direct funding assistance. Talk to our Club Captain or Chairman and explore the multitude of ways you can help Sailability to help people with disabilities to sail.
There are a range of ways for you to support Sailability Wellington to allow people with disabilities to enjoy the therapeutic benefits from sailing. Here are some
- See here for Sponsor support for new equipment purchase
- See here for Sponsor support for storage and transport
- See short video here to check out what the volunteers do to help the Sailiors
Your support could help with one of the areas below or you may have something else in mind
Practical assistance or financial contribution?
Some Individual and Corporate supporters wonder how they can help to make a difference. While we welcome financial contributions, there are other ways to help us to run our therapeutic sailing programme.
- Assistance with administration, storage, insurance, maintenance or salary costs
Take your pick, there are lots of areas that you can help with either by providing practical support or helping us with funding.
- Volunteer support
Our volunteers are the lifeblood of Sailability Wellington and we do our best to support them to support us. If you can help us to feed or look after our volunteers in other ways such as petrol vouchers, then we want to talk to you.
We need your help to provide the boats, UHF radios, hoists and safety gear and other equipment needed to provide Sailability Wellington’s life-changing service.
Our volunteers and coaches require a great deal of hands-on training support. If you think you can help us to deliver this comprehensive training programme then get in touch.
